Amazing Happiness In Small Country Town

The other day I wrote about the amazing happiness found on Piazza Europa in Agazzano that reminds me so much about the special world of Don Camillo; He is a well known classic novel figure of an Italian and Political reality which oppose the Catholic Church society to the bottom life, hard core Communist Society that always remembers to be Catholics at births, weddings and deaths.
Don Camillo is with all his heart representing the catholic, clerical society and the ordinary people, their family and life.
Sunday morning Don Camillo in his days would surely be taking care of his congregation.  However these 2010 Sunday mornings the congregation is attending the Market in Piazza Europa.
When finished their shopping tour they are having an aperitif with family and friends at one of the surrounding bars and you can hear the sound of constant and vivid conversation all over the Piazza.
Watching and hearing all this there is no doubt:  the people coming out here are happy life-campers.
This small town in the countryside never ceases to amaze me.
The Italian farmers visiting the bars in their baggy and worn out working clothes could easily be driving the new model red Ferrari that with other flashy cars regularly is cruising the Piazza. But the farmers prefer their old and practical cars, and save their money for other investments.
However the younger Ferrari enthusiast and the older land lover, who own their home and property full out, all seem to have found a special and amazing kind of happiness here in this small town of Agazzano in Italy;  it is a contagious attitude to life worth while bringing home with you.
