Discard “Money If’s”
Maybe you are getting lost in “your thoughts and theory and a lot of if’s” looking for holiday happiness.
Wake up, get down to earth again and amaze yourself by starting afresh and finding the heart of your inner power.
I know it is tough to be short of money, even broke, the feeling of no perspective, getting depressed, the world looks gloomy and it is this time of year when family and friends should be close and here you are feeling alone because you can’t afford the normal holiday expenses. You sometimes just want to hide and let this month go away.
But that is not happening because this month is not going to go away. The holiday spirit is overwhelmingly here including all its commercial show that also mixed with all its stressing “sales” somehow and surprisingly can make you soft in your knees.
So dismiss the bad moment and fill yourself with the good memories of the past and load your spirit with your trust in you and your future.
As a parent you think about your kids and pinpoint some heart-warming holiday situations that makes you smile right there.
If you have no kids you might think about your own childhood, feel the smell of the fresh baked cookies and the holiday food, the jokes among the family and the relaxed and good feeling you had in the safe harbor and hugs of family.
Let these feelings come to you no matter your economic situation. Let them shine and exchange holiday happiness injections with a good joke and a warming laugh shared with family and friends. After all this is a family holiday and the best gift you can bring is your presence and good spirit.
