Money No Issue For Happiness In Boston Commons

Walking around in Boston as a visitor, in humid heat a summer day, is outright exiting. The city is beautiful and I love the scent of powerful history you see all over.  The parks, headed by the Boston Commons,  breathe not only air but also life.  The usefulness of the well kept benches, the grass, the playgrounds and the cool relief the lakes, ponds and canal like stretches give is heaven.

You can almost feel the soul of America imagining the colonists go through the Boston Commons to the harbor to throw the tea in the sea.

During the years Boston has become one of the centers of not only academic achievements via Harvard University and MIT but also of financial achievement.  Furthermore no “normal” income family can afford to live in the center of this grand and old atmosphere city.

Even in this now very wealthy and rich area full of expensive international stores and restaurants, money is not a necessity to stay happy and enjoy these surroundings.

Happiness is found also in humid heat where the café’s and restaurants in areas of different ethnic origin give extra “humph”.  When tiredness from enjoying walking around hits you, there are lots of relaxing places to rest your tired body.

Even on a nice bench by the pond in a beautiful park like the Commons where your bank account doesn’t count.
