What I like most about the book is the clearly-defined, step by step techniques to progress toward the goal of perpetual happiness; writing things down, making cuts and re-examining them. This is something anyone can do.
My biggest take-away is taking personal responsibility for releasing past negativities and replacing them with positives. Detachment from what is not useful.
The revival of feelings from a past moment of happiness and retention of those feelings is very useful.
The e-course has helped me take even more personal responsibility while dropping feelings of guilt and blame, followed by visualizing desired goals – in order to manifest them.
This book is a practical guide to happiness in terms of the techniques, which are clear and easy to follow – no dogma or preaching, just basically very good and sensible advice.
